★Well, it’s been quite a start to the year! We’ve had some good rain, some cool and even cold weather. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t start thinking about doing a little gardening, and the time is just right for putting some savory onions in the ground for all your cold-weather recipes. We’re getting in fresh batches every couple of days with you and your kitchen in mind, save us a bowl of pintos!

★We still got a long way to go before the sun comes out for good, and we’re headed into February pretty soon, our coldest month, so here in January, have a look at all those winterizing projects you need to do at the house and in the barn.

★Some things that come to mind for any of those projects are pipe insulation, caulk, weatherstripping, and of course, for your livestock, don’t forget some cozy heat lamps and blankets. We’ve added extra stock of these items so you can buy in quantity and keep everybody toasty warm.

★Hard to believe that the show majors are nearly in full swing, and that the final push is on! We’ve got the San Antonio show in February Houston in March, as well as Austin and Mercedes in March. There’s still time to put the finishing touch or two on your soon to be blue ribbon project, so come see us again and again till show day to see to it that you stack the deck in favor of a big win. You’ll need that one or two items worth of show tack to get you just where you need to be when the pressure is on and your project has to look %100. We’re with you %100, too, all stocked up with exactly what you’ll need when you run short, like so much else here at the store, we remember what everybody came in for last year at the last minute.
