★For those of you keeping your livestock a little closer to home, all this wonderful cool weather brings the potential for dehydration, and its affect on overall nutrition. Never forget to put out a few salt blocks to encourage better water intake, and mineral blocks and pour-in mineral supplement to see to it that your seasonal feed changes don’t bring a deficit.

★Hard to believe that we’ve got the bulk of our proper cold weather ahead of us, with the latter part of January and all February being the most brutal on pipes and pets as yall might recall. Do a quick check to make sure that your brooder lamps are in good order and that you have a few spare bulbs so that you don’t have to make a special trip during a winter storm. And many of you may know, heat lamps can be right handy for keeping your well house warm, and vital plumbing well above the freeze mark.

★But after taking care of your well house and all the nooks and crannies that can hide a dangerous draft, you’ve got another dilemma: varmints! They’ve got their holiday season two, and there’s nothing they’d like better than to set up housekeeping and get busy snacking and making a family, just in time to be a terrible nuisance all over the feed barn, and Heaven forbid, the house. Well, you’re in luck, because we’ve got plenty of Just One Bite rodenticide products, powerful, effective, and priced just right!

★And last but not least, remember that we keep a tremendous lineup of wells Lamont work gloves in all different models so that you can get the work done without the mess and exposure to the damp cold weather that’s ahead. We’ve also got a great lineup of case knives to round out your shopping.

★We hope that your Ag projects are coming along in good shape ahead of going to some prospect shows the latter part of this month, and Gerlach coming in January, getting closer and closer. And as we have more and more of this on again off again cold weather together with intermittent damp, you’ll want to take some elementary precautions and get good and stocked up on Suncoast shavings, as well as see to it that you’ve got extra bulbs for your brooder lamps.

Your goats and lambs will be happy to have new covers, and we’ve got plenty to choose from that will look great, wear well, and fit nearly any budget.
