★It sure is a blessing when you have a new baby puppy that has come into your family’s life, with all the joys of training, playing, and socializing as a new family member. For your little ones as well as their older brothers and sisters with four legs, it’s time for vaccinations, and we make it easy, we have a downloadable shot record to help you keep up with your vaccinations, as well as any advice you might need for doing some home veterinary care to give everybody a good start here at the first crack of spring.

Getting toward early March some of y’all are going to have new baby calves on the ground that are going to need their first round of vaccinations. We’ve got the right vaccinations and wormers in stock for looking after your cattle, sheep and goats, as well as treatments for early control of all the pests you’re bound to see more and more of as we head into Spring.

★We know you love to garden, too. Your February potatoes are all done from your first round of gardening, so why not think of round two, with some wonderful homegrown vegetables, and maybe some pretty flowers for that dinner table that mom has gone to so much work to cook for? We have plenty of seeds for flowers and vegetables, and not just any seeds either.

★We carry a wonderful lineup of Page Seed Company seeds for flowers and vegetables that do well in this part of the country. We also have weekly deliveries of Bonnie Plants for a quicker start on your gardening. But would you rather take care of your plants in containers? We have wonderful products by Foxfarm that will allow you to do so the organic way, if that’s your persuasion. We also have first quality grass seed, as well as native grass blends, and Texas Made APF fertilizers to give everything a great start for a good look come summertime.

★We also love looking after our poultry people. It doesn’t really matter if you are highly experienced in raising chickens and producing eggs, or if you’re just a beginner. With this round of baby chicks we always have a few new people that come in wanting to get started, and we know just what to provide to get it all going. We’ve even got wonderful starter kits. And at this time of the year our seasoned veterans come to see us quite a bit as well for one or two more heat lamp bulbs, extra waterers, and of course, plenty of feed.

★And if you don’t want to raise chickens, why not take care of some of our native birds that are little bit more on the wild side? You’re going to want to feed them right, of course, so that their little ones get a good start too. The first part of March, as you may know, is migration time, and we have a lot of newcomers that are plumb wore out from flying this way.
